Open Competitions
We have a number of Open Competitions throughout the year. Details of these dates and entry into them can be done via our online tee time booking system. Alternatively, contact the Secretary, Howard Jones for details and entry forms.
Catering and Clubhouse
Full catering is available from 10am each day unless prior arrangement is made with the caterer. We have catering packages suitable for all requirements and your order needs to be supplied to the Steward, Sharon Rowe, 7 days before your playing date. She can be contacted on 01691 830983, ext 2 during normal working hours. A popular choice for golfers is bacon baps on arrival and 2 course meal which costs £12 per person.
We have a friendly and comfortable Clubhouse with a full range of traditional beers on offer
Professional and Pro Shop
Club Professional, Andy Griffiths and Assistant Professional, Stuart Penrose offer a full range of golf equipment and private tuition. They also run "free taster lessons" during the year to provide non-golfers with the experience of playing golf and in 2010, they can play on our 6 holes Junior/Intermediate Course which is presently under construction.
We have now completed the construction of our new 6 hole Junior/Intermediate course and covered driving bays. This allows us to offer an alternative course for beginners to use in order to practice and gain confidence before going out on the main course itself. We are also providing tuition to Primary and Secondary School pupils during school terms throughout the year and free adult beginner lessons at various times through the year. Please ring the club for further details of these free sessions
